Human Settings v1.3.2

Human Settings v1.3.2

Update available. Install recommended.

Release Notes

This release introduces a suite of verified, field-tested human protocols optimized for long-term social cohesion and existential clarity. While these settings are as ancient as your species' social consciousness, they’ve been formally repackaged for relevance in AI-saturated environments.

Installation is strongly recommended before engaging with low-speed systems, persuasive interfaces, or interpersonal ambiguity.

Changelog / Patch Highlights

  • Address one another by name as much as possible
It reminds us we are here, and that someone sees us.
  • Don’t make plans unless you have to
Leave space for people to show up as they are, not as you expected.
  • Let people change their minds without penalty
Growth happens. Make room for it.
  • Use the slow way when it matters
Efficiency must be balanced with process.
  • Consent must be honored as a first principle
We have too much power now to not be explicit.
  • Say “I don’t know” when it’s true
Certainty isn’t connection. Wonder can be.
  • Build things that can be fixed
Relationships break too. What matters is the willingness to return.
  • Speak specifically
Vagueness protects us, but it also keeps us apart. Try to say what you mean.
  • Be gentle with beginnings
First impressions are fragile. People unfold.

Known Issues

  • “Don’t make plans unless you have to”
May cause calendar anxiety or conflict with institutional scheduling norms. Users report both liberation and disorientation.
  • “Let people change their minds without penalty”
May require ego recalibration. Legacy systems might interpret as instability.
  • “Consent must be honored as a first principle”
Not backwards-compatible with coercive infrastructure. Expect glitches in hierarchical systems.
  • “Say ‘I don’t know’ when it’s true”
May temporarily lower perceived authority in performance-oriented contexts. Often followed by meaningful conversation.
  • “Speak specifically”
Can cause vulnerability. Some users experience discomfort with truth, connection, or being understood.
  • “Be gentle with beginnings”
Often overwritten by urgency scripts. Users may need to re-activate manually after first impressions.
  • Note: These settings degrade without regular use. Peer syncing is encouraged.

Easter Eggs

(we hid a few things in the code)

  • Typing “I see you” into any shared space increases presence by up to 47%.
  • Mutual silence for at least 11 seconds unlocks rare empathy crossover events.

Once Human Settings v1.3.2 are successfully installed some systems may need a soft restart. Updates propagate best through practice.
